Our History

In the heart of Slough proudly stands The Three Tuns. This grade II listed building was built in the 1700’s and is 1 of the 2 surviving coaching inns that Slough has to offer.

After many modernisations to the internal layout, the building itself remains much as it was in earlier years, when the prestigious and working-class combined would seek residence and refuel their energy before the journey ahead.

It has been documented that Royalty have even attended meetings within the building. Steeped in history and stories of the past, nothing could be more exciting than the current venture at The Tuns, after receiving a much-needed refurbishment in June 2017 and launching Masala & Coal, the building has had a brand-new burst of energy, pulling in customers from the local area and further, the success of which has firmly placed The Three Tuns as the flagship destination of Masala & Coal.
